NEW HAVEN, Conn. – After a rare weekend off, the Yale men's soccer team returns to action on Tuesday night, hosting Boston College of the ACC. Kickoff at Reese Stadium is slated for 7 p.m.
Here are notes on the matchup:
* The teams last met in the first round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament when the Eagles earned a 3-0 victory.
* Boston College is making its first visit to New Haven since 2008. The Bulldogs are 3-4 at home vs. the Eagles. BC leads the all-time series 9-5-2.

Eric Lagos share the team lead with three goals. Carroll, who also has an assist, has a team-best seven points.
* Goalkeeper
Elian Haddock has 19 saves on the season and is 23
rd in the nation in saves per game.
* With eight goals in four games, the Bulldogs are 36
th in the nation in scoring offense.
* Yale has won nine straight games at Reese Stadium dating back to the 2018 season. The last loss came to Columbia on Oct. 27, 2018.
* The Bulldogs posted four shutouts at Reese in 2019 and did not allow more than one goal in any game.
SCOUTING BOSTON COLLEGE
The Eagles (3-2-1) had their four-game unbeaten streak snapped in a 3-0 loss to No. 2 Clemson on Friday. BC has victories over Boston University, Hartford and Holy Cross. Stefan Sigurdarson has scored five of team's eight goals. Christian Garner has played every minute of every game in goal and has a 1.44 goals against average.
