Executive Director with the Oklahoma Historical Society, Trait Thompson was at Monday’s Board of Osage County Commissioners meeting requesting financial assistance to make improvements to the Fred and Addie Drummond home. The home was built in 1905 and they took control of the property in 1980. Thompson explains to the Board what they are looking for.

The County has yet to get any clarification on how they can use funds they have received from the federal government, but Thompson believes the historical society fits into a category that would qualify for assistance.

Because discussion was held during citizens input, no action was taken.
