Area Man Killed in Lawn Mower Accident

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – An area man was killed in a lawn mower accident at a golf course in Titusville on Thursday night.

According to Venango County Coroner Christina Rugh, LeRoy E. Wagner, 52, of Titusville, was declared deceased at the scene of the accident, which occurred on the evening of Thursday, September 16, at Pop’s Windy Knolls Par 3 golf course in Titusville.

Rugh noted the incident involved a lawn mower and said Wagner’s death has officially been ruled accidental.

Wagner was the owner of the golf course along with being the building maintenance supervisor at Venango Technology Center in Oil City.

He had also been employed at Cross Creek Resort, Electralloy, and Titusville Estates maintaining waste water systems and HVAC needs.
