Osage County Tourism Director Kelly Bland has worked diligently to attract people to the area. The latest idea Bland has come up with is creating different “districts” in Pawhuska with hopes of each district catering to people’s interests. Bland says this would be similar to what Tulsa has done in their downtown area and previews what she and Pawhuska City Manager Tonya Bright have envisioned.

Bland says in order for this to work, it will be important for the City of Pawhuska and the Board of Osage County Commissioners to work together.

This is something that Bland would like to expand to other towns throughout Osage County.
