A new popcorn shop has opened in Fairfield and there's a flavor that's sure to appeal to everyone, as there's more than different flavors at the store.Nelson's Popcorn Land opened at the end of August.The shop has sweet and savory flavors of popcorn -- such as cheddar popcorn, BBQ popcorn, Chicago mix popcorn, birthday cake popcorn, chocolate peanut butter popcorn, chocolate almond bliss popcorn, chocolate maple bacon popcorn and bacon and cheddar popcorn just to name a few.Owners said they were inspired by Garrett Popcorn in Chicago and wanted to bring delicious popcorn to Fairfield.Inside the shop, you will find a tasting area where you can sample some of the popcorn flavors for free before choosing what you'd like to purchase.The popcorn comes in four sizes for different prices.
