A$AP Rocky Releases New Vans Collaboration With PacSun
A$AP Rocky was announced as PacSun’s guest artistic director back in July 2021 and he is churning out gold in the new role. The “Babushka Boi” rapper has dropped his second collection with the fashion company.
Like with the first drop, Again, Rocky has partnered with Vans. This time, he is launching the classic black canvas Slip-On Mule and Slip-Ons with flames alongside each shoe. The soles dually reflect the respective ASAP Worldwide and Vans brands logo with red, orange, and black flames.
“Vans Slip-Ons are classics — was cool to put my own spin on a shoe that I have always loved. These fit with everything,” Rocky said in a statement. Brie Olson, PacSun’s President, added in a statement: “It is truly inspiring watching Rocky use his fashion sense to put his own spin on a brand with so much heritage. As a longtime partner of PacSun to now guest artistic director, it has been a real pleasure collaborating to give our customers and his fans the opportunity to purchase his merchandise at PacSun.”

PacSun has also collaborated with model Karrueche Tran and socialites Kylie and Kendall Jenner. Rocky’s role as guest artistic director will last 18 months and duties include in-store activations, overseeing brand campaigns, and designer collaborations like his own. According to Snobette, Rocky’s first exclusive collaboration between Vans and Russell Athletic dropped back in July with an Old Skool silhouette and a preview of a new song in the visual campaign.
“This partnership is special to me because it’s a collaboration that combines my roots, A$AP Worldwide and some of the most respected heritage brands that have roots in both the sportswear and lifestyle worlds,” Rocky said in a statement initially announcing the guest artistic director collab.
The Vans x A$AP Worldwide Classic Slip-On Mule and Slip-On shoes are priced at $75 and $80 on PacSun’s site. Now excuse us, because it’s time to cop these, ASAP.
