A new festival will lift off in the desert when it turns a museum into an exhibition of dance moves.

Desert Air, a new dance music festival, will land at the Palm Springs Air Museum Dec.10-11.

The new festival is organized by Splash House, a summer festival series that mixes a pool party with an EDM music fest in Palm Springs, and Goldenvoice, creators of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and the Stagecoach Country Music Festival.

Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. Sept. 24 for the festival, which will include sets by dance music heavyweights, singers and artists such as Peggy Gou, DJ Koze, Dixon, The Martinez Brothers, Moodymann, Channel Tres, Jayda G, TSHA, Mason Collective, Perel, Chris Stussy, Patrick Holland and Chloé Caillet.

Attendees must show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to enter the festival.

Tickets: On sale at 11 a.m. Sept. 24. General admission passes prices start at $130, plus fees. VIP passes start at $230, plus fees. There are also hotel packages and table reservations available.
