Sooners updated game-by-game win projections per ESPN FPI after week 3

Winning close games has led to a less than favorable view of the Oklahoma Sooners. Though they were able to stay put in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll, the Oregon Ducks gained on them. Oklahoma dropped one spot in the AP Top 25 poll to no. 4, being replaced in the top three by those same Oregon Ducks.

In light of their one score win over Nebraska, the Sooners’ win probability dropped in all but one of their remaining nine games of the season. The only game where the Sooners win probability improved was against the lowly Kansas Jayhawks.

Check out how the updated ESPN Football Power Index sees the rest of the Sooners schedule playing out and make sure to take a peak at the latest Big 12 Power Rankings.
