Michigan’s football team couldn’t have asked for a much better start to the 2021 season, dominating Northern Illinois 63-10 Saturday to improve to 3-0.

The 19th-ranked Wolverines have outscored opponents 141-34 and have outgained them 1,544 yards to 860. But now the true tests begin as the team opens Big Ten play this week against Rutgers.

Michigan isn’t the only Big Ten team off to a hot start, though, and a few others arguably haven’t lived up to expectations through the first month of the season. So how much does the Wolverines’ hot start change the outlook of their season and the Big Ten pecking order? MLive’s Ryan Zuke, Aaron McMann and Andrew Kahn discuss on the latest episode of “Wolverine Confidential.”
