Siddharth Taparia

Siddharth Taparia, Chief Marketing Officer

In his new role as chief marketing officer, Siddharth Taparia will focus on JLL’s global marketing strategy and oversee all marketing activities worldwide. JLL expects the former SAP exec to lead the company through the latest macro trends, including rising capital allocations, sustainability, technology transformation, and outsourcing.

Talley Riggins Construction Group

Denward Freeman

Denward Freeman, VP of Business Development

Former president of MEDCO Construction Denward Freeman has been appointed Talley Riggins’ new vice president of business development. In his new role, he will focus on healthcare and worship projects. Freeman has worked on projects including the Tom Landry Health & Fitness Research Center and the Sammons Cancer Center.

Simmons Bank

Marty Nay

Marty Nay, Executive Vice President and Texas Metro Division President 

Having served as Simmons’ Kansas City market president for the past five years, Marty Nay will now take over Simmons’ DFW area overseeing business development and client relationships. The division holds approximately $2.8 billion in total loans and $1.6 billion in total deposits.

John K. Round

John K. Round, Member

Certified in estate planning and probate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, John K. Round joins the firm as a member. His practice will focus on tax and estate planning, representing both individuals and businesses—including family limited partnerships—as well as probate and trust law. He is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

Brooks L. Caston

Brooks L. Caston, Of Counsel

In his new role at Steptoe & Johnson, Brooks Caston will focus his practice on estate planning and trust strategies and advise clients on all phases of the estate and trust administration processes.

Jeff Lewis

Jeff Lewis, Assistant Vice President of Franchise Support

Jeff Lewis originally joined FASTSIGNS in 2013 as a business consultant and, in his fourth promotion, will assume post as the assistant vice president of franchise support. He will manage the operations team and lead the sales development department.

Barbara Engle

Barbara Engle, Senior Director of Education and New Centers

In this newly created role, Barbara Engle will lead training initiatives and programs, including the New Center Business Consultant team, working to innovate the future for FASTSIGNS. She first joined FASTSIGNS in 2011 and quickly turned an under-performing resale center to profitability, then sold it on entering the corporate team.

Grant Walker

Grant Walker, Director of Operations

Grant Waker has been promoted to director of operations and will be responsible for the leadership and management of the business consultant team. With over 15 years of experience with FASTSIGNS, Walker will bring a plethora of operational expertise to his new role.

Lana Daley

Lana Daley, Director of Resales and Transfers

Lana Daley retired from FASTSIGNS International in 2013, but she returned in March 2020 and has now been promoted to director of resales and transfers. She will help manage resales and transfers, specializing in assisting FASTSIGNS franchisees in selling their businesses.

The Catholic Foundation

Darina O’Dowd Padian

Darina O’Dowd Padian, Vice President of Development

Darina O’Dowd Padian most recently served with The Ireland Funds, where she cultivated and maintained donor relationships. In her new role with The Catholic Foundation, O’Dowd Padian will lead the development and marketing staff to grow assets.

Cheryl Unis Mansour

Cheryl Unis MansourSenior Vice President of Donor Relations

Since joining the foundation, Cheryl Unis Mansour has led the development team, cultivated relationships with donors, and elevated the foundation’s stature in the community. In her new role, Mansour will focus on providing support to existing donors.

Vari has announced the formation of the Vari Advisory Board, a group of innovative business leaders who will provide strategic counsel. The four members will provide expertise for Vari’s national expansion efforts.

Ka Cotter’s expertise spans commercial real estate brokerage, nonprofit leadership, corporate boards, and executive coaching. Cotter was The Staubach Company’s top revenue-producing broker for 10 consecutive years. She has also served on the committee to build the Perot Museum and chaired the boards of UTD Center for Brain Health and YWCA/WiNGS.

Russell Denson will bring knowledge as a CEO and director in the media and other industries. His expertise spans sales, mergers, restructurings, and public and private financings. Denson also serves as Chairman of Gulf Energy Information and director of Peerless Media.
