Iowa State vs. Kansas slated as 6 p.m. kick

The Cyclones and Jayhawks will square off under the lights at Jack Trice Stadium next weekend.

Iowa State and Kansas’ Oct. 2 clash has been scheduled as a 6 p.m. kick set to be televised on Fox Sports 1, the Big 12 announced on Monday. Iowa State will travel to Waco to take on Baylor this weekend while Kansas travels to Duke.

The Cyclones moved to 2-1 on the season this past weekend with a dominant 48-3 win over UNLV. Meanwhile, Kansas dropped a 45-7 decision to Baylor in Lawrence.

In last season’s meeting between the two schools, Iowa State jumped out to a quick lead before rolling to a 52-22 win in Lawrence. In the last meeting in Ames, Iowa State scored 20 points in the fourth quarter to seal a 41-31 win back in 2019.

Iowa State and Baylor will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. on Fox this weekend.
