The Oregon Ducks’ big win over Ohio State last weekend was a major boost for the program.

It launched Mario Cristobal’s program to No. 4 nationally and generated a ton of buzz.

Sports Business Journal reports the sales of Oregon merchandise is up 425 percent, and the recruiting impact could be equally dramatic.

On this week’s “The Recruiting Trail” podcast, I explain how Oregon’s win will impact recruiting and explain why the off-field issues and/or early-season struggles of Arizona State, California, USC and Washington help give the Ducks an even greater boost.

The class of 2023 should be the best in program history, and although it’s early the writing is on the wall.
