City Council to consider operation of Century II

KNSS NEWS

At Tuesday's meeting, the Wichita City Council will consider a proposed agreement with ASM Global to operate Century II for the next five years. Mayor Brandon Whipple tells KNSS News non-profits with a stake in entertainment have been looking to the round building's future. ASM Global currently operates Intrust Bank Arena in downtown Wichita, and there could be some shared expenses, such as employing the same people at both Intrust and Century II.

Also at Tuesday's meeting, the City Council will consider how the city deals with dangerous dogs and how those animals are determined to be "dangerous".  Whipple says the city wants to be fair to the dogs and their owners.
