Comments

Phil Blackwell: It’s good to see state rankings back and better still to see two Section III teams (Skaneateles and Cincinnatus) atop those rankings. There’s little respect statewide for area large-school teams, and the skepticism may be justified, as in Class AA, even the top teams like F-M have endured all kinds of close games, along with a tie against Baldwinsville. And congratulations to ESM coach Mark Carr on reaching 200 career wins.

Pat Spadafore: A major overall in Class A as teams continue to put win streaks together. Overall, there could be some additional movement with key games on Tuesday and later in the week.
