Dylan Guenther did it again, offering another piece of validation as to why the Arizona Coyotes feel they got the player they really wanted after trading away two of their best players to get into the first round of July's NHL Entry Draft.
Guenther scored his third goal in two Rookie Faceoff games in the Coyotes' 2-1 overtime shootout loss to the Los Angeles Kings' prospects Sunday night at Gila River Arena. The Coyotes are 1-1 in the tournament they are hosting, with their last game Monday at noon against the Anaheim Ducks.
Guenther had more chances to score another goal, but two overtime power play shots were saved, and he missed as the Coyotes' last shooter in the overtime shootout.
