Kelenic went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, two doubles, a walk, three RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Royals.

Kelenic continued his strong month of September with an exceptional performance at the plate in Sunday's victory. He doubled in two runs his first time up and doubled and scored in the fifth. He also homered to straightaway center to lead off the third in what was his second game of the year with three extra-base hits. It's not surprising that a guy with Kelenic's talent has finally started to figure things out with the bat. It's just unfortunate that there's not much time left in the season to see if he could sustain the production. In September, the 21-year-old is slashing .283/.348/.650 with six homers, 15 RBI, 12 runs scored, two steals and 6:18 BB:K over 16 games. After such a rough go to kick off his major league career, it's nice to see Kelenic ending things on a high note.
