A hearing has been set for next month concerning questions about evidence allowed in the Kyle Rittenhouse double-murder trial.
Kenosha County Circuit Judge Bruce Schroeder ruled that prosecutors can’t argue the teenager is affiliated with the Proud Boys during a Friday hearing.
Rittenhouse stands trial starting November 1st on charges he shot three men during rioting in Kenosha in August of last year.
Two of those men died.
His defense attorney has argued his client was being attacked and he fired in self-defense.
Prosecutors say Rittenhouse drove from his Illinois home to Kenosha looking for trouble, calling him a “chaos tourist” and a “teenage vigilante.”
The hearing is set for October 5th.
