It looked like it was just going to be another Kansas City Chiefs victory when superstar tight end Travis Kelce rumbled into the end zone for a 46-yard touchdown to give his team a 35-24 lead in the third quarter.

It was a ridiculous play that epitomized why the Chiefs are often viewed as a cheat code:

Instead, the final result was a shocker.

The Chiefs didn't score again, and the Ravens scored the final 12 points of the game to earn a 36-35 victory. Patrick Mahomes threw his first September interception ever, which helped the Ravens make their comeback. A Clyde Edwards-Helaire fumble with just over a minute to go as Kansas City was driving for the victory was another nail in the coffin, and then Lamar Jackson converted a fourth-and-1 to seal the game.

After the game, Kelce took to Twitter with an uplifting message:

This is the right message from Kelce. There's really not much to worry about when it comes to the Chiefs, except for perhaps some defensive concerns. The offense is still dominant, even despite the late-game gaffes. A few fluky plays cost them the game, but there's little reason to expect this to throw them off their game moving forward.

Kelce finished with another huge game, catching seven passes for 109 yards and that touchdown. He continues to be the best tight end in the NFL and is showing no signs of slowing down after having a career season in 2020.

The bottom line is the Chiefs will be just fine, even after their first loss in September since 2016.
