Clarks Originals Introduces Its Outdoors-Inspired Wallabee 2.0 GTX
The silhouette’s most hard-wearing and winterised take yet.
After joining BEAMS BOY for a colorful take on its Wallabee boot, Clarks Originals returns to its epochal silhouette to give it an outdoors, GORE-TEX-covered makeover.
The label — which has reworked its boot countless times already this year, including a pub carpet-inspired iteration — now delivers a take ready for more treacherous conditions, and while dousing the ankle-high boot in a water-resistant coating is nothing new, the Wallabee Boot 2 GTX is much more.
Dubbed the brand’s most hard-wearing and winterised take yet, the boot sits atop a Vibram sole that’s both functional and comfortable, while a suede and textile upper delivers a refreshed iteration of the classic shoe, that’s protective too. Three branded hangtags take centre stage with the laces, while a vibrant orange tab at the heel rounds out the trail-ready look.
