Giants vs. Atlanta Falcons odds: Giants favored by 3.5 in meeting of winless teams

The New York Giants, badly in need of a victory after two disappointing season-opening losses, open the week as 3.5-point favorites in Week 3 vs. the Atlanta Falcons, per DraftKings Sportsbook.

Sunday’s game will be at MetLife Stadium with a 1 p.m. ET kickoff. The 0-2 Giants have lost to the Denver Broncos, 27-13, and the Washington Football Team, 30-29. The Falcons are also 0-2, suffering a 32-6 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and a 48-25 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The heat is on a Giants team that has now started 0-2 or worse in eight of the last nine seasons.

After Atlanta, the Giants have road games vs. the New Orleans Saints and Dallas Cowboys, then a Week 6 meeting with the Los Angeles Rams. Sunday’s game vs. Atlanta is likely the only one in which the Giants will be favored to win.
