GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Hamilton County dispatchers confirm two people were shot in an apartment complex in Green Township Monday morning.

The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. at the Cedar Hill apartments on Harrison Avenue. Both people were transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

A warrant has been filed for the arrest of Elijah Thompson, of Florence, Ky. According to court documents, both victims were shot multiple times, including in the head, chest and limbs.

Documents state Thompson and the two victims were attending a get-together at the Harrison Ave. apartment when an altercation broke out. Thompson and an unnamed co-defendent then brandished firearms and shot both victims, court documents allege. Police have not identified the co-defendent; nor has a warrant been issued for anyone other than Thompson in connection with the assault.

Thompson has not been arrested yet and police are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Green Township Police Department at 513-574-0007 or Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.

There is no update on the conditions of the two victims. Police are still investigating the shooting.
