Former Buckeye Luke Fickell is a hot name in the college job speculation game

"You can't even ask my about Indiana, I know nothing," said UC Head Coach Luke Fickell who was asked about the open USC coaching job at his weekly media conference.

Fickell name's has been mentioned with increasing regularity as big time job openings occur.The 2-0 Bearcats are ranked 8th and travel to Indiana this weekend in their toughest game to date. Fickell acknowledged that being mentioned for one of the top college head coaching jobs in the country is a good thing. "But it's not about me it's about Desmond Ridder...and I hope those positives for our program continue."Ridder is the Bearcats prolific quarterback and said the trip to Indiana will certainly test his team. "It's our first road game and being ready for that crowd because we haven't faced a crowd like that in a while. We will have to stay controlled. Fickell said his team will need to make things happen on special teams to tie their effort all together. "There are going to be a lot of body blows..."Indiana lost its opener to Iowa before beating Idaho. The game will kick at Noon on ESPN.
