CANTON, Mass.—The Columbia women's golf team will open its 2021-22 season when it travels to Canton, Mass. to participate in the Boston College Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday at Blue Hill Country Club.

Six Lions will make the trip to Massachusetts including first year
Taylor Zeng, sophomore
Allison Paik, sophomore
Angela Zhang, senior
Jennifer Wang, senior
Alexis Florio, and junior
Christine Shao. Shao will play as an individual. Two players—Florio (Cranston, R.I.) and Paik (Providence, R.I.) are New England natives and will be competing a few miles from their respective hometowns.
Columbia will tee off at 8:45 a.m. ET on hole 16 on Monday morning. The Blue Hill Country Club is a par-72, 6,137-yard golf course with a 76.2 rating and 136 slope.
Fifteen teams will compete in the event including host Boston College, Albany, Boston Univ., Columbia, Fairfield, Hartford, Holy Cross, Merrimack, Monmouth, Penn State, Quinnipiac, Rollins, Sacred Heart, Siena, and Yale.
The last time Columbia competed in an event was on Feb. 10-11 at the FAU Winter WarmUp.
