OCTOBER 10TH. THIS AFTERNOONOG D LOVERS AND THEIR FURRY COMPANIONS GATHERED AT MILLER PARK IN WINONST-SAL,EM DOUG MOORE DOG FESTIVAL PUT ON BY THE ARDMORE NEIGHBORHOOD. THERE WERE A NUMBER OF ACTIVITIES. DOGS AND THEIR HUMANS TO ENJOY INCLUDING AN AGILITY COURSE PLAY AREA AND A NUMBER OF VENDORS WERE OUT THERES A WELL. THE MAIN EVENT WAS THE DOG SHOW COMPETITORS COMPETEDN I CATEGORIES SUCH AS OBEDIENCE BEST LOOK-ALIKE AND BEST KISSER ALL WHAT A GOOD GIRL. LOOK AT THAT CANDICE JONES ONE OF THE ORGANIZERS TELLS US THAT THE GOAL OF THE EVENT WAS TO BRING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER THROUGH THE LOVE OF THEIR PETS. This afternoon, dog lovers and their furry companions gathered at Miller Park for the first-ever Dogmore Dog Festival put on by the Ardmore neighborhood. There was a wide range of activities for dogs and their humans to enjoy including an agility course, play area and multiple vendors to stop by. The main event was the dog show, competitors competed in categories such as obedience, best look-alike and best kisser. “It’s nice to get together, especially during a difficult time for us, with COVID and everything else that is going on. To have a carefree day with animals that you love. What is better than that,” said Candide Jones, organizer of Dogmore.
