Lincoln University freshman found dead in residence hall, foul play not suspected

A first-semester freshman at Lincoln University dies in his residence hall.

The university announced Sunday that Dominik Dudley-Moore had passed away in Dawson Hall.  Although no foul play is suspected, his death is under investigation by the LUPD.

Dudley-Moore was serving at LU’s Mr. Freshman on the Royal Court.  The university says it was his goal to become a high school athletic director.

Lincoln is offering counseling services all week in Thompkin Health Care for students, faculty, and staff.

A candlelight vigil will be held Monday, September 20 at 6 p.m. on the Scruggs University Center back patio.Â
