Mare isn't in Easttown anymore—she's actually at the Emmy Awards. Kate Winslet, who is nominated for her role in HBO's Mare of Easttown, just arrived at the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, California. The legendary actress went for a classic look for this evening's festivities.

Winslet chose a black gown with a plunging neckline and sheer sleeves for the awards program. She paired the look with dangling earrings and stacked bracelets from Fred Leighton, and an embellished black clutch. She is wearing her hair in a tousled updo.

Winslet is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie category, for playing Mare Sheehan in Mare of Easttown. The murder mystery series became a phenomenon after premiering this April. In the series, Winslet's Sheehan is a Pennsylvania detective, the only one in her small police station, as she tries to solve the murder of a young mother, along with a series of disappearances of women in her town. Jean Smart, Evan Peters, Julianne Nicholson, Guy Pearce, and Sosie Bacon also appeared on the show. Mare is nominated for 16 Emmy Awards this year, including the major category, Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series.

This is not Winslet's first time at the Emmys. She has, in fact, already won an Emmy in 2o11 in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie category. Winslet earned the honor for her role in another HBO miniseries, playing the titular part in Mildred Pierce.

The Emmy Awards begin at 8 p.m EST and will air on CBS and Paramount+.
