Tennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones has looked a little more like himself on Sunday as his team matched up against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2 of NFL action.

Jones and the Titans were blown out at home by the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1, a game where he managed just 3 catches for 29 yards. Through 3-and-a-half quarters of Sunday’s game, though, he has made 4 catches for 102 yards.

And the former Alabama great appeared to record his first touchdown of the season just before halftime. Check out this leaping catch at the back of the end zone late in the 2nd quarter that momentarily cut the Seahawks’ lead to 17-12 pending the extra point.

The only question was if Jones had kept both feet inbounds while making the catch. All scoring plays are checked via video review, and after officials took another look, it was determined that it was not the case and the points were taken off the board. Tennessee settled for a field goal to draw within 17-9.

Here’s another look at the catch, along with the replay as shown on CBS:

And as you can see below, the Titans’ social media department certainly didn’t hide their feeling about the call.

The Titans currently trail the Seahawks 30-23 in the 4th quarter, and if they go on to lose and drop to 0-2 on the season, the decision by the officials to overturn the Jones touchdown catch will loom large.
