Wilson killed the 10-point buck in Kershaw County

Cody Wilson of Catawba, S.C. killed a trophy 10-point buck in Kershaw County on Sept. 12, 2021. It was a deer he’d been pursuing for about two years.

Wilson had seen the deer through trail camera photos several times over the years, including leading up to opening day this season. He shot the deer with a Browning .300 Win Mag. After the shot, the deer ran about 50 yards before expiring.
