A comedy show, a festival, dog walking, and opportunities to clean up public parks are some free, family-friendly events happening the week of September 20.
Inner Rail in Aksarben Village is hosting Off the Rails Comedy Series from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, September 20, according to Aksarben Village's website.
The comedy series features comedians from Omaha and will be emceed by "the amazing Q," said the website.
"Sit back, relax and get ready to LAUGH!" said the website.
City Serve is a "movement of people who declare in word and action," according to their website.
They are volunteers who team up with nonprofits to help serve the community, said the website.
On September 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., City Serve will be teaming up with Keep Omaha Beautiful to clean up Fontenelle Park, 4407 Fontenelle Blvd, said the website.

Launch Live will take place in Midtown Crossing on September 24, according to the festival's Website.
The festival will feature games, food, raffles, and variety acts, said the website.
It is free admission, and all of the proceeds from donations and games will go to support Launch Leadership’s student programs, said the website.

City Serve is teaming up with Keep Omaha Beautiful on Saturday, September 25 to clean up Elmwood/Memorial Park, said City Serve's website.
The event will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 808 S 60th Street, said the website.

The 2021 Walk for the Animals is taking place on Sunday, September 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., according to the Humane Society's website.
The 5K begins at 11:00 a.m. and the walk begins at 12:15 p.m., said the website.
