Anderson County saw two fatal collisions in as many days. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the 2nd fatal wreck of the weekend in Anderson County happened around 2:30 AM Sunday.
The crash happened on Highway 86 about 6 miles west of Piedmont. The accident report says the driver of a pick up truck ran off the road and hit a tree. The driver died at the scene.

The Highway Patrol says the driver was wearing a seatbelt and was trapped in the vehicle after impact. The name of the driver has not been released as of the time of this report.
