FSU favored vs. Louisville in Vegas’ eyes

Florida State Seminoles football, still seeking its first win of the season after three games for the first time since 1976, will be facing an uphill climb vs. Louisville this weekend — though Vegas seems to think it’ll be a close game.

According to Vegas Insider, Florida State is a favorite vs. Louisville, with an over/under of 61 and a spread of -1. FSU has been an underdog in all 3 of its games vs. FBS opponents.

While FSU has failed to notch a victory, Louisville has had an up and down season, faltering against Ole Miss in a high profile opener but upsetting UCF last Friday in a thriller.

Louisville won the last matchup between the schools 48-16 in 2020, while FSU won in 2019 and 2018. Overall, the Seminoles lead the series 16-5, with the first matchup coming in 1952.

Florida State vs. Louisville kicks off Saturday, September 15th at 3:30 p.m. and is set to be broadcast on ESPN2.
