Man of the Match Poll: Borussia Dortmund Hold Off Union Berlin Comeback to Win 4-2

Cover picture for the articleBorussia Dortmund survived a late comeback from Union Berlin to win 4-2, and keep up with the leading pack in the Bundesliga. The first half was far more comfortable than you’d expect against Union Berlin, with BVB taking a 2-0 lead from a Guerreiro boomer and a Haaland header , and the second half started in the same fashion, with BVB’s third coming from an own goal. But Dortmund like to keep things interesting. Witsel gave up a penalty which Max Kruse converted, before BVB conceded their usual sad piece goal, making it 3-2 with about ten minutes left. Things started to look a little nervy, until Erling Haaland popped up for his second goal of the game, an absolutely ludicrous lob that no player has any business pulling off.
