NFL Week 2 early games open thread

Come chat with us during the 1 p.m. ET games for Week 2.

Week 2 is one of my favorite weeks in the NFL. After the season openers, everyone seems to think they know what each team’s identity is. The Packers are terrible, Josh Allen and the Bills are overrated, while everyone was sleeping on the Bengals and Steelers.

Of course, pick any random week in the NFL, and you’re going to find surprising results. But when those surprising results happen in the opening week, everyone is prone to overreact.

But Week 2 separates some of those fake contenders from the real ones. Can any of the Week 1 surprise winners follow it up, or will they prove it was a fluke. How many losers from last Sunday can prove that was just shaking off some rust?

I won’t pretend that we’ll learn everything about every team after Week 2, but it will certainly provide some more clarity after the most overreacted to week of football. So come join us for the early 1 p.m. ET slate of games and chat in the comment section below.

Here’s a full slate of the early games:

  • Bengals at Bears (FOX)
  • Texans at Browns (CBS)
  • Rams at Colts (FOX)
  • Bills at Dolphins (FOX)
  • Patriots at Jets (CBS)
  • 49ers at Eagles (FOX)
  • Raiders at Steelers (CBS)
  • Saints at Panthers (FOX)
  • Broncos at Jaguars (CBS)
