The Maryland Department of Health released updated coronavirus numbers Sunday morning.
As of 10:30 a.m., there are 519,097 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maryland, 1,036 new cases have been reported within the past 24 hours.
The statewide positivity rate is now 4.34%, increased by 0.11 since Sunday morning; 0 deaths have been reported in one day bringing the state’s death toll to 10,035.
Hospitalizations have increased statewide by 10, bringing a total of 807 people hospitalized.
The MDH reported 208 people are currently in the ICU receiving treatment for the virus and 599 are in acute care.
In our region, Baltimore County is the third county with the highest rate of coronavirus cases, while Baltimore City comes in fourth.
There are 72,127 cases recorded in Baltimore.
Then Baltimore City has 57,773 cases.
The Health Department is also reporting 4,090,185 negative tests, and 11,264 patients have been released from isolation.
Roughly, 82.6% of the state’s population age 18 and up has gotten one dosage of the vaccination, and 3,901,097 doses have been administered.
Currently, 12,616,849 people have been tested in Maryland.
