Sept. 19 (UPI) -- Bravo has announced it canceled its planned Real Housewives of New York City Season 13 reunion special.

"Due to scheduling challenges around taping the reunion of The Real Housewives of New York City in a timely manner, Bravo confirmed there will not be a reunion for this season," the cable network said in a statement Saturday.

"It's disappointing to not be able to bring the cast back together, but we are happy to have ended on such a high note with the finale, and are now shifting our focus to next season."

The Season 13 finale of the reality show aired Sept. 4. The cast included Eboni K. Williams, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Leah McSweeney and Sonja Morgan.

A Season 12 reunion special was taped in person during the COVID-19 pandemic last year.
