Calhoun went 1-for-5 with a single, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 6-4 extra-inning win over Houston.

Calhoun, who was activated from the injured list Friday, made a second consecutive start at designated hitter and delivered a run for the Diamondbacks. After homering in his return Friday, Calhoun singled home the go-ahead run in the top of the 10th inning then came around to score on Daulton Varsho's two-run, cushion-needing home run. With the Diamondbacks looking to give younger players opportunities, it's uncertain if Calhoun will be the primary right fielder, his usual spot, once Arizona resumes play against National League teams and will not have the benefit of the DH. Right field has been a pathway for playing time for Pavin Smith, Jake McCarthy and Varsho.
