Ohio State (-2000) is going to rebound in a big way after its loss last week to Oregon. But is it worth risking $100 for every $5 won? No, it’s not.
AVOID.
Against the spread
OHIO STATE -25.5 (-108) has had a lot of issues on the defensive side of the ball, particularly stopping the pass. The good news is that Tulsa is very mediocre in the pass game, posting just 212.5 YPG with only 20.0 PPG on offense. This is a perfect bounce-back opponent for the Buckeyes after last week’s wake-up call.
Over/Under
OVER 60.5 (-110) is the lean for a multitude of reasons. First, Ohio State is going to be angry, taking out its frustrations after a hard week of practice on poor ol’ Tulsa.
Second, the Golden Hurricane actually might be able to move the ball with some semblance of effectiveness against a Buckeyes pass defense which is still trying to find its way. It’s a perfect recipe for the Over.
