Motherwell build on 'great spirit'
FT: Rangers 1-1 Motherwell
Motherwell manager Graham Alexander tells BBC Sportscene: "We wanted to carry the game to Rangers and I'm delighted that we've managed to come back from 1-0 to get something.
"We also understood that we'd need to be incredibly disciplined.
"We have a great spirit on the training ground. They are good people, good characters. It's something we've worked hard on over the summer, examining the personalities of players coming in."
Alexander, also reckons the Rangers goal was offside but doesn't sound too upset about it now...
'Shinnie such a clever player'
FT: Livingston 1-0 Celtic
Livingston manager David Martindale tells BBC Scotland: "Andrew Shinnie reminded me of big Lyndon Dykes today, even the aerial threat. He's just such a clever footballer. It was a top class number nine performance and his finish epitomised his overall performance.
"To a man, everybody on the park was fantastic today.
"It takes a bit of pressure away from us. But my philosophy is we'll continue to trust the process at the club."
'Not good enough,' says Postecoglou
FT: Livingston 1-0 Celtic
Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou tells BBC Scotland: "We didn't start the game well and we paid the price. After they scored we dug ourselves into a little bit of a hole. We just weren't aggressive enough.
"It's not good enough. If we want to be successful we can't continue not picking up results in these games. That's the test for us.
"We've played well in every game, but we've not been consistent. Today was the first time we didn't play our football."
