After defeating Ohio State last weekend, and dealing with a weather delay during warmups, Oregon football was expected to come and take care of business against Stony Brook. The team from Long Island nearly made a game of it, but the Ducks pulled away in the second half, 48-7.
We did get to see Ty Thompson and Jay Butterfield in the game and the former threw his first touchdown as a Duck.
Anthony Brown started for the first half. He was 14-for-18 for 159 yards and he scored a touchdown with his legs. The Oregon offense struggled to get going.
