When Nate James left Duke to take the Austin Peay job, he no doubt expected to be coaching in the OVC, and he will - for a while.

But not indefinitely.

Austin Peay has accepted an offer to move to the ASUN and James will only be part of the OVC for this season (the move is scheduled for next year).

In a twist we didn't know about, APSU’s AD, Gerald Harrison, was a David Cutcliffe assistant at Duke and quotes his old boss: “When I was at Duke, Coach Cutcliffe would always say you either run to it or you run from it, and we’re running to it. It’s more competitive, there are some challenges there. We’re going to have to grow, we’re going to have to recruit well, we’re going to have to build facilities, we’re going to have to do some things, yes.”
