A Hopkins County man was killed in a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Kentucky 800 and Crofton Firetower Road Saturday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say Thomas Qualls, of Madisonville, was on Crofton Firetower Road when he failed to stop at the intersection, ran off the road, and hit a tree.
Emergency personnel attempted to revive Qualls but were not successful. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened just after 4 pm.
