Orange Lutheran cruised to a 42-24 win over Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks on Friday at Notre Dame High.

The Lancers scored 21 consecutive points in the second and third quarters to pull away from the Irish.

Logan Gonzalez threw touchdown passes to Pierce Brown and Jaylen Lynch. Desmin Jackson had a 47-yard touchdown run.

Gabe Morin and Jojo Edwards led the defense for Orange Lutheran (5-0). Jason Terry rushed for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Orange Lutheran has a bye next week before opening its Trinity League schedule on the road against Servite.

In other games Friday:

No. 9 Villa Park 17, Valencia 7: Villa Park’s defense shined in a low-scoring win on the road against Valencia of Valencia.

The Spartans defense, led by Arthur Orta and Owen Duckworth, got consistent pressure on the quarterback and the secondary played well.

Nathan Kornely had 223 yards passing for Villa Park (4-0). Tight end Alex Grywalski had seven catches for 84 yards. Fullback Carson Ridge rushed for two touchdowns and Blake Califf made a field goal late in the game.

No. 8 Corona del Mar 45, No. 19 San Juan Hills 27: Corona del Mar continued its hot start with a blowout win over San Juan Hills at San Juan Hills High.

David Rasor completed 18 of 29 passes for 262 yards and threw three touchdown passes. The junior also rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown.

Evan Sanders rushed for 162 yards and had a touchdown for Corona del Mar (5-0). Cooper Hoch had three touchdown catches for the Sea Kings and Max Lane had 112 yards receiving.

Freshman quarterback Michael Tollefson threw for 301 yards and three touchdowns in his first varsity start for San Juan Hills (0-5). UCLA commit Braden Pegan had 11 receptions for 146 yards and three touchdowns.

No. 25 Brea Olinda 26, Fullerton 18: Brea Olinda didn’t suffer a letdown after its comeback victory over Sunny Hills last week.

The Wildcats held onto an early lead to beat Fullerton at their homecoming game.

Justus Thongprahchanh threw two touchdown passes to Jeremiah Dafney in the first half. Alex Han made field goals for Brea Olinda (3-0) from 20 and 29 yards out.

Andrew Rubio ran for a 5-yard touchdown in the second half.

Ryan Knight had two rushing touchdowns for Fullerton (1-4). Christopher Castillo threw a 60-yard touchdown pass to Mason Calvillo for Fullerton’s first score of the game.

Brea Olinda hosts undefeated Pacifica next week. Fullerton opens Freeway League play against Sonora.

No. 22 El Toro 35, Garden Grove 7: El Toro quarterback Blake Miller threw five touchdown passes in a win over Garden Grove at Garden Grove High.

The senior quarterback threw touchdown passes to four different receivers. He completed 23 of 28 passes for 279 yards. Collin Payne led the Chargers receivers with 127 yards and two touchdowns.

Will Corrigan had seven tackles (two for a loss) and Payne had an interception for El Toro (5-0).

Portola 28, Beckman 7: Portola beat Beckman in a nonleague game to get off to its first 5-0 start in school history.

The Bulldogs are typically known for their running game but quarterback Sonny Tierney threw two touchdown passes in the win. He opened the game with a 29-yard touchdown pass to Dean Berger to give Portola a 7-0 lead.

A few plays later, Portola defensive back Zephyr Suri intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown. Parker Olthoff picked up a fumble and returned it for a touchdown for the Bulldogs.

Nova Kebeli rushed for 128 yards on 20 carries and had a 5-yard touchdown reception.

Segerstrom 29, Thousand Oaks 28: Segerstrom overcame a 14-point halftime deficit to beat Thousand Oaks for its first win of the season.

Frankie Gonzalez, Noble Acosta and Cristian Galaviz each scored for Segerstrom (1-3).

The Jaguars defense forced a fumble on a strip-sack that Paul Mendoza recovered in the fourth quarter.

Santiago 41, Magnolia 35 (2OT): Santiago (4-0) survived a two-overtime thriller against Magnolia at Western High.

Satomai Siofele-Rohpati scored the game-winning touchdown in double overtime for the Cavaliers.

Quarterback Daniel Gonzales completed 10 of 15 passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for a touchdown. Daniel Padilla was the beneficiary of Gonzales’ efficient game, catching all three of his touchdown passes for 83 yards.

Isaac Hernandez led the Cavaliers’ rushing attack with 71 yards on 10 carries behind an offensive line led by senior Ivan Felix.

Irvine 57, University 0: Irvine running back Cameron Goods had a career game in a rout of University at Irvine High.

Goods ran for three touchdowns, had a touchdown reception and returned a punt 57 yards for a touchdown. His 30 points tied a school-record in a single game, according to coach Tom Ricci.

He ran for 115 yards on just five carries. Evan Hasegawa and Tate Zimmerman also ran for touchdowns for Irvine (4-0). Adharsh Ptathap had a 35-yard pick-six for the Irvine defense.

Calvary Chapel 46, Santa Ana Valley 7: Ian Capuano played a role in all seven touchdowns for Calvary Chapel (4-0) in a drubbing of Santa Ana Valley.

The senior quarterback threw six touchdown passes and ran for a touchdown. He has 17 touchdown passes this season and zero interceptions.

Capuano is coming off a serious knee injury he suffered last season, according to Calvary Chapel coach Pat McInally.

Dana Hills 34, Woodbridge 6: Dana Hills (3-1) scored early and often in a blowout win over Woodbridge at University High.

Bo Kelly threw multiple touchdown passes to Omarjaye Black for the Dolphins. Both passes were greater than 30-yard touchdown passes.

The Dolphins will return to University High next week to play University in a nonleague game.
