ATLANTA — A Saturday afternoon shooting has left one man dead, according to Atlanta police.
Police say that officers in the area of Altoona Place were flagged down around 4:30 p.m. and told that a man had been shot.

The victim’s identity has not been released.
When they arrived to the scene, they found a man dead from a gunshot wound.
Homicide investigators say that everyone involved in the incident has been identified, but they are continuing to work to determine what led up to the shooting.
