UPDATE AS OF 4:00 PM
SAN ANTONIO - The chance for showers and thunderstorms will continue through the early evening tonight, mainly west of San Antonio.
After sunset, any rain or thunderstorm activity will diminish. Expect a dry and hot day on Sunday with only a spotty shower across far eastern counties with the sea breeze. Highs will be up into the mid and upper 90's once again.
The cold front ahead next week now looks to arrive Tuesday night to early Wednesday. This will give us a couple hot days Monday and Tuesday before cooler weather moves in. There will be a chance of some showers or a couple thunderstorms as this front moves by.
Right now, the best chance for rain will be late Tuesday and early Wednesday. The first day of Fall is this upcoming Wednesday and it looks like we are going to have some cooler temps with highs in the mid to upper 80's. We may even see lows in the upper 50's late next week!
