Just the Facts:

Today vs. Buffalo

The Time: 3pm

The Place: LECOM Harborcenter, Buffalo, New York

Place to Watch/Listen: Here.

Game Notes:

  • Lines for Boston. I am very tickled pink by the massive shift in defense pairing size and skillset from the first and second pair. It’s sure to make for a fun game. Forward lines look lovely in the top six. Good opportunity for Kyle Keyser to show us what he’s about, too!
  • Sabres opened the Prospect Challenge with a 3-0 drubbing of the Devils, with Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen getting the shutout. Jack Quinn for the Sabres will be a healthy scratch, as will Mattias Samuelsson, who had a strong game yesterday but also blocked a hard shot off his foot and will be out as a precaution.
  • The Harborcenter camera they’re using is piss poor and the lighting doesn’t help. Expect to lose some players in the action.

Sunday vs. New Jersey

The Time: 1pm

The Place: also LECOM Harborcenter

Place to Watch/Listen: Here.

Game Notes:

A pre-preseason gamethread that’s good for the next two days? We’re really starting to feel it now.

What’s on tap this fine afternoon?
