Naomi Campbell spoke publicly about her newborn daughter for the first time since her birth.

The supermodel opened up about her baby girl in a rare interview, four months after she shared the first glimpse of her baby on Instagram. During her appearance on BBC Hardtalk, she said she's lucky to have her "dream child," per Page Six.

"She’s wonderful," she told the outlet. "She’s very independent already, very smart, alert, sleeps 12 hours. She’s a good girl."

Campbell also gushed over her baby girl in her surprise birth announcement post last May, writing in the caption, "A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother. So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love."

The Empire actor has been very private about her daughter and hasn't revealed the baby's name or details about her birth. She recently reflected on other aspects of her personal life in an interview with The Cut. She also addressed the sacrifices she made over the course of her iconic career.

"I'd say the sacrifice is really finding that soul mate who will understand you," Campbell told the outlet. "It's really like you feel if they look at you as if you're strong … you know, I'm strong, but I'm also sensitive. I know that in relationships I have to compromise."
