Local firefighter returns home after battling COVID-19 in ICU

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
A local fireman who was fighting for his life against COVID-19 is now back home with his family in Broken Arrow.

Broken Arrow fireman Josh Whitekiller battled the coronavirus for three weeks — even spending several days in the hospital's COVID ICU.
Now, the 33-year-old is back home with his two daughters and wife.
Josh's wife, Casey, thanked the community for their prayers.
"God knew we needed him more!" Casey posted on Facebook. "We are home."

While Josh is still recovering from the effects of the coronavirus, his family and the community is thankful to have him back.
