BOSTON — Red Sox manager Alex Cora will keep red hot Bobby Dalbec in the lineup vs. another left-handed starter Saturday.
The Red Sox and Orioles will play at 1:10 p.m. here at Fenway Park.
Dalbec is at first base and Kyle Schwarber will start in left field against left-hander Zac Lowther (0-2, 9.92 ERA).
Alex Verdugo, who has struggled to hit lefties this season, will sit after a three-hit game Friday when the Red Sox faced a left-handed starter.
Dalbec homered Friday. it was his 12th blast in 28 games since Aug. 13. He has 20 extra-base hits during the stretch. He has 23 homers in 122 games this season and 31 homers in 145 big league games.
Dalbec has an .868 OPS, nine homers, eight doubles and three triples against left-handers this season.
