Destroy All Humans!, cruisin' down the street...sort of!

During the 10th anniversary showcase last night, THQ Nordic have announced a total of six new games including new Destroy All Humans and Sponge-Bob games.

THQ Nordic are one of the biggest, if not the biggest publisher in the world in terms of IP size. This Austrian publisher, who are owned by the Emracer Group currently have 42 games in development across their studios and last night, during the 10th-anniversary celebrations we got to see some of these titles.

Here is the full list of new announcements:

  • Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed
  • Outcast 2 - A New Beginning
  • Jagged Alliance 3
  • Superpower 3
  • MX vs. ATV: Legends
  • Elex II
  • Expeditions: Rome

You'll probably notice that Elex II is also on the list eve though the game has already been announced earlier. But the team wanted to showcase a brand new story trailer and the 10th-anniversary celebration was the perfect place and time for that.

THQ Nordic also have a brand new Sponge-Bob game in the works and we cannot wait to see more of this one since we've enjoyed Battle for Bikini Bottom.

The reveal of Destroy All Humans! 2 was probably the biggest announcement of the night. As earlier rumours suggested, this is a full remake of the original game, adding and improving features while (re-)building the game from scratch in shiny Unreal Engine 4 visuals.
