Classic “Batman” universe villains will have the chance to tell their epic battle stories on a new HBO Max podcast this weekend.
The streaming service presents “Batman: The Audio Adventures” beginning Saturday, Sept. 18. The program is exclusive to HBO Max and will not be available on other podcast platforms.
After years of crime fighting, “Batman prepares to become an official Gotham employee and deepens the rift between himself and Catwoman,” who’s been using Gotham criminals for financial gain, according to the show’s description.
The 10-episode podcast also will feature the voices of The Joker, The Riddler, Two-Face, Penguin and other iconic “Batman” characters as they talk about their epic adventures in Gotham.
The cast of the original WarnerMedia project, which will be scripted and split into separate episodes focused on each character, includes Jeffrey Wright as Batman, Rosario Dawson as Catwoman and John Leguizamo as The Riddler.
